Anyone that gives this game 5 Stars is highly invested in the performance of the app sales!! You can beat the AI. You cannot accept challenges from the AI. As soon as you accept a double, the dice immediately go in favor of the AI. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GAME unless you want to slam your device from sheer anger.

Thought Id play after a long layoff and it took 3 games to simply annoy the daylights out of me. I had him pinned in 3 times and 3 times the al just happened to roll the absolute perfect combination and doubles. Again. Not realistic. Infuriating.

Ive been playing backgammon on a real board since I was a child and you simply do not see the perfect rolls from your opponent as often as the Al. Its just statistics. I quit playing a long time ago but came across this game when I bought a new phone. The developer removed my review, so Im compelled to inform you not to waste your money. You will lose your mind when the computer rolls 2 or 3 perfect rolls to defeat your excellent play. Its pathetic how often.

Ive tried so many backgammon games and this one is the best by far. Idiots that say the computer always rolls exactly what they need dont understand that in programming, when you set a higher difficulty it just increases the odds of the computer hitting the numbers it needs. If you want to win just set it to easy you cry babies. Only game to stay on my homepage for years. 5/5

Last update over 5.5 years ago... Any idiot that claim this game is fair, is just that, an idiot. Besides, playing easy vs difficult, will not, or should not change the dice rolls/odds. Sorry, majority rules and this game although fun at times, is not playing fair. Too bad the developer will not upgrade... Al gets 9 doubles, I get 1, in a single game... Not unusual. Install an automatic number generator. A total and complete cheating game. Al throws loaded dice. Too often the dice role in favor of CPU, way tooooo often. I win about 25%, with settings at hardest level. Sometimes not even worth finishing game as you get completely wiped out. Update more realistic algorithms please, great layout, good function, but unfair... The developer would sell a lot more games, if the game received a decent rating, to accomplish that, create a fair game... BTW, the tutor only sets you up for Al to kill. There are some good hints, rarely, but try following all the tutors advice, you still get slammed. You are better off without the tutor. If you you are the obvious loser, and fast forward to get the game over, you unwontedly challenge Al with a double, Al always excepts, as he is winning by far. No player is as lucky as Al... Where are upgrades? Allow player to enter human rolled dice option...
